Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. She was awarded the best actress award for her performance in Nashville The 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 where she played Claudia Shepard. She also was the lead character in the feature film Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class in 2012. Harvard University had accepted her. But, they had to agree to her admission two times in order for her to play the part as the character of Nashville. Peeples played a role as a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples was a regular on TV films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective as well as The Good Mother. She was a major player on the Nashville series in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder during an interview in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples among the best actors who is under 20 in September of 2014.
